2.2 Million Massage Cards Have Been Seized By Dubai Police In 2022

What are they doing? If you’ve been living in Dubai for quite a while, you’ll already know but if you’re new here, here are the deets. Groups of people who work for an illegal massage centre toss their promotional cards onto the floor that display inappropriate images.

Dubai Police seized 2.2 million massage cards in 2022

The police force has launched several campaigns to combat the illegal activities in these unlicensed centres. They have been raising public awareness of the centres’ harmful services, tracking down locations and operators of such unlicensed businesses, and arresting massage card distributors on vehicles.

332 phone services of these centres have been disconnected. In 2021 and 2022, the police arrested 897, of which 588 were charged for violating public morals and 309 for printing and distributing massage cards.
