The city that keeps on giving – that’s definitely Dubai! It’s constantly evolving and providing more opportunities for residents. A company by the name URB has launched the Urban Tech District in Dubai, on the Creekside of Al Jaddaf.
It’ll be home to the urban tech institute and hopefully the next generation of leaders. It’s going to be the largest urban tech district in the world.
Dubai’s Urban Tech District will create 4,000 jobs in green urban technology, education and training areas
So what do tech-enabled urban developments do? They seek to provide solutions to challenges created by urbanisation in various areas including zero-mile food production, food security, affordable and scalable renewable energy, low energy demand water harvesting, zero-waste management, and waste-to-energy solutions.
Baharsh Bagherian, CEO of URB stated that “Dubai is best positioned to lead the Urban Tech transformation than any other city in the world.” It’ll reposition Dubai as the centre for urban innovation.
It’s truly an impressive project. It’ll provide facilities for conferences, training, research, seminars, business incubation as well as various amenities.
